Final Week Of August 2018

This is the last week for the month of August 2018.  Only 4 more months left until 2019.  Fall is in about 3 weeks, but the temperatures around much of the United States are still in the mid to upper 80’s for most.  Halloween is only two months away and the horror movies are starting to roll out more than any other time of the year.  The anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks is also coming up.  As always, here are some new releases to be reviewed.

DJ Hektik is first up on the list and is back with another release that contains hip hop and r&b tracks.  He drops “The Final Episode” in the “Dabbin and Grindin” mixtapes.  Volume 10 plays you music by Sage The Gemini, Trippie Redd, NBA YoungBoy, Kevin Gates, Partners n Crime, Playboy Carti, 03 Greedo, Saweetie, T-Pain, K Camp, Chance The Rapper, Rich The Kid, G-Eazy, Bryson Tiller, Lil Skies, 50 Cent, Uncle Murda, 6ix9ine, and more on the finale release of this series.

Next, 3rdy Baby is back on the scene with another release of all the latest new songs to hit the airwaves.  He brings out part 6 of the “Margiela Music” collection.  This title contains a playlist of music by artists such as Loudpack Loski, Soulja Boy, Gucci Mane, Flexin Of Shoreline Mafia, Cap 1, Don Q, Quavo, Lil Durk, Future, Doe Boy, Young Thug, G Herbo, Chief Keef, Juice WRLD, Rich Brian, Playboy Carti, Lil Baby, Cizzle Money Addict, Peewee Longway, Key Glock, and other rap emcees.

Third, on the list of mixtapes to be reviewed in this blog post, comes a release by DJ Cinemax and DJ Suspence.  The two collaborate on #30 of the “Rappin Like I’m Trappin” roster.  Artists making the cut for this project include Reese LaFlare, Young Thug, Kur, Lil Durk, Yung Dub D, Ski Mask The Slump God, Famous Dex, Money Bag P, Kush, Sauce Walka, XXXTentacion, BBG BabyJoe, Lil Uzi Vert, Young Dolph, Kodak Black, Juelz Santana, and a whole squad of other emcees on this 51-track playlist.

Fourth, is a release that contains a track listing with the main featured lyricists being A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Remy Ma, Don Q, and Fat Joe.  This title is a release from one of the favorites on the site, Mr. Crack, and is titled “Bronx’s Finest”.  His mixtapes are some of the best you will find.  Guest appearances with the headliners on this drop include Nipsey Hu$$le, Dave East, Rick Ross, Big Sean, French Montana, Plies, Dre, Chris Brown, Lil Kim, Tee Grizzley, and Tory Lanez.

The final product to be reviewed is by DJ Ike Love.  He drops a release that is a compilation of the best rappers in the game spittin bars titled “Killer Freestyles”.  Look for lyrics by Remy Ma, Ripp Flamez, Drake, Papoose, Young M.A., Juicy J, Rocky Banks, Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock, Pusha T, Cassidy, Phor, Styles P, Vado, Juelz Santana, Tyga, J. Cole, Elzhi, Kxxg Crooked, Jae Millz, Sheek Louch, and so much more.  Look for more mixtapes on this site soon to come from this guy.

The NFL preseason is about to come to a close this Thursday as all 32 teams have their final dress rehearsal games on August 30th.  The official start of the regular season is September 6th.  The opener begins with the Atlanta Falcons facing off against the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.

 

 

3rd Week Of Preseason Football 2018

It is a big week for television as the MTV Video Music Awards were held just this past Monday on August 20th.  A new season of Jersey Shore also kicked off on Thursday August 23rd.  The start of the regular NFL season is also right around corner with only 2 weeks of the preseason left.  School is also beginning this week for most if it hasn’t already.  With everything that is going on, why not add some new music to your full schedule?

DJ Tom Cruise is back with another release full of new songs.  He drops off volume 20 of the Heat In The City mixtapes franchise.  This product contains a 49-track playlist with music from NBA YoungBoy, Kodak Black, GlokkNine, Young Thug, Yung Rackz, Ke Paso, Gunna, Lil Uzi Vert, Hoodrich Pablo Juan, Yella Beezy, Skrilla Longway, Deequincy Gates, Jacquees, MoneyBagg Yo, PnB Rock, Yung Bleu, Nukstana, and a gang of other hip hop lyricists.

One of the hottest DJs on the site, Mr Crack, drops a product with some of the nicest funk from over the years.  On his newest release, he gives his fans a classic rap emcee playlist containing tracks from Papoose, J. Cole, Big K.R.I.T., Kendrick Lamar, Game, Uncle Murda, Kanye West, David Banner, Jay-Z, Ransom, Jadakiss, T.I., G-Unit, Ron Paul, Meek Mill, Childish Gambino, YG, Nipsey Hu$$le, Killer Mike, Joyner Lucas, Maino, and others.  This title is part 3 of the “Revolutionary Crack Music” mixtapes series.

DJ Phase 3 and DJ Don Yae are next on the list for reviews.  They team up to give the streets number 11 of the “Mood” roster.  Sub-titled “Duck Hunt”, this compilation contains tracks by artists such as Kebo, O.T. Genasis, Quavo, Wiz Khalifa, Bone Thug-N-Harmony, Coca Vango, OB Tha Boss, Carona Smooth, Young M.A., Cellus Papi, Manolo Makvailee, Future, Money Man, NBA YoungBoy, Future, Gunna, and many other rappers.

One of the best in the south, DJ Spinatik, gives the block an anniversary edition of his products.  He drops off the 100th volume of the “Street Runnaz” mixtapes series.  Check out this all-star compilation containing new songs by Playboy Carti, Young Nudy, Travi$ Scott, Woop, BlocBoy JB, Quavo, 21 Savage, Kevin Gates, Lil Wayne, Trippie Redd, G Herbo, Tee Grizzley, Kap G, Ty Dolla $ign, Migos, DJ Durel, TGUT, Smokepurpp, MoneyBagg Yo, Lil Uzi Vert, Future, and more.

This blog post comes to a close with a title by DJ Big Migoo.  This guy releases the 8th edition of the music catalog labeled “Dirty Drippin”.  This playlist consists of funk by MadexChina, City Lightz, YG, 6ix9ine, Bravo Santana, K. Camp, Lil Durk, Von Dre, Honcho J, PDE Escobar, Gunna, NAV, Gringo, 3Oh Black, 21 Savage, Ellis ill, Travi$ Scott, and many more industry recordings acts.

August is almost coming to an end, so that means that rent will be due next week.  Some parents will be happy to get their kids out of the house after a 3 month summer vacation.  Let’s hope your favorite NFL team has a good season.

 

Summer Is Almost Over and School Is Around The Corner

It was a hot summer this year for most of the United States with temperatures in most areas above 90 degrees and many regions even experienced heat in the 100+ range.  We are currently mid-way through August, so that means next month is the Fall Equinox.  Many of you are probably out spending loads of money on clothes for back to school this month because everybody wants to go back looking brand new.  While you are winding down from this summer’s activities or the vacation you took, we have some new releases for you to check out.

The first review comes from DJ S.R. and DJ Grady.  These two come together to bring their fans part 2 in the “City Of Vibes” mixtapes.  Check out this playlist which consists of new songs by Young Thug, Nicki Minaj, Swae Lee, Gunna, Sy Ari Da Kid, Reese LaFlare, Yung Bans, Money Mu, Tavi$ Scott, The Weeknd, Migos, Lil Baby, Sleepy Headd, Gwalla Man Dash, Tracy T, Rick Ross, Young 5, Tony Mon, GQ Smooth, MP Boomin, Paxquiao, and many others.
