Results of The 2016 Election

Last night, Trump pulled off the biggest upset of the century by winning the presidential election.  Many people were stunned at the results as Hillary Clinton was defeated.  Some would say that Clinton supporters did not do their part by going out to vote.  There is also talk of people leaving the country.  If people are too lazy to go out and cast a simple vote, then they would be even more lazy about leaving the country.  You might think that your vote may not have mattered, but in the image posted after this paragraph you will see just how close the results in some states can be.  This just shows that every vote does matter.  The difference between Trump and Clinton in New Hampshire was just 307 votes.  Maybe with Trump coming into the presidency people can get some kind of relief with healthcare as many have expressed their frustration with the high cost of health insurance.  In any case, we have more titles for you to check out while you are busy being lazy.

First, DJ Murph and DJ Situation team up to bring the streets part 3 in the “Boyz On Da Block” collection.  This release plays you 20 tracks by emcees such as NBA YoungBoy, Lil Lonnie, Money Man, Jeezy, Lotto Savage, Moneybagg Yo, Dae Dae, Tracy T, Drake, Future, Meek Mill, Lit BlueBlack, Payroll Giovanni, Austin Rogerz, Supa Mike, and many more.  If you are looking for more music by any of the artists on this playlist, you can use the search engine on our site here.

In September, French Montana’s “MC4” was leaked early due to a mishap at Target stores putting it on sale before it was supposed to be released.  The date was then pushed back to sometime in October.  Although many have already heard the leak, on November 5th, “Mac and Cheese 4” was released as a free download.  Guest features on this drop by Drake, Jeezy, A$AP Rocky, Max B, the late Chinx, Kodak Black, Miguel, Kanye West, Nas, Styles P, Jadakiss, and Beanie Sigel.  Production credits on this official product include Harry Fraud, The Mekanics, Murda Beatz, DJ Khaled, Earl and E, Maaly Raw, Swift, Ben Billions, Danny Boy, The ANMLS, Rick Steel, DJ Khalil, and iLLA.

That does it for this blog post informing you about some of the best titles to look out for.  At least since the election is over people can stop bickering back and forth about who is better.  Hopefully Trump will stand by his word and make this country great again.

Election Night Part 2

We are half-way through the 2016 presidential election and by the current updates on CNN.com, Trump has a lead over Clinton of 139 to 104 electoral votes.  The tension is building, although one of the updates said that Trump and his campaign managers were smiling.  We have two more titles for you to have a look while you wait for the election results.

The first review is a release for anyone looking for the edited version of popular songs.  DJ Envy and Tapemasters Inc bring your ears the 4th edition in the “Purple Codeine Radio” collection.  Music on this installment from T.I., Young Thug, Travi$ Scott, Quavo, Kodak Black, Gucci Mane, D.R.A.M., Lil Yachty, Blac Youngsta, Rich Homie Quan, French Montana, Rick Ross, Jeezy, Lloyd, Russ, MadeinTYO, Usher, A$AP Ferg, and many other top acts.  If you are a club DJ and are tired of only finding music with swear words, then this product is for you.

Next, DJs Mondo, B-Ski, and Big Mane bring out volume 8 of the franchise called “Taking Over The Streets”.  Emcees to look for on this playlist of 22 new songs include Slixm Jxmmi, Cook LaFlare, Deezy, Quicktrip, Coca Vango, Moneybagg Yo, Highway Heavy, Lucky Nick, Narcotic Prince, Byg Enoff, Key!, GUN, Parlae, Big Bank Black, 21 Savage, and a list of other up and coming lyricists.

The election results are starting to come in and everyone is watching in anticipation of who the next president will be.  Kanye West announced at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards that he would be running for president in 2020, so as that saying goes, anyone can run for president.  Friday, November 11th is Veteran’s Day, so please remember to honor those who served and fought for the United States of America.

Election Night 2016

Tonight is the big night for the 2016 presidential election.  Did you do your part and make sure you cast your vote?    Even though most of the population does not agree with the two candidates running, it very important that you do your share in the voting process.  Once you are done, we have two new titles for you to check out in this blog post review.

The first product released is done collaboratively by five DJs.  Illspin, Killem, Goldmouf, Testarosa, and Tati all put their hand in producing volume 8 of the “Trap & Finesse” music library hosted by Young Tedd.  The listed artists on this installment include the host, French Montana, Saint Laurynn, Fetty Wap, Jake, Bravo P, Roy Wood$, 24hrs, Ty Dolla $ign, Wonder, Uncle Murda, Young M.A., Chinx, Max B, Future, 2 Chainz, Rich The Kid, Young Thug, and much more from the music game.

Election Day Tomorrow Vote

Tomorrow is the big day to get out and vote.  Some would argue that this is the most important day of the year as this year’s electoral candidates are probably two of the craziest people the United States has ever had in it’s history.  Many non-whites do not like Trump, but if this guy wants to sweep the polls, maybe all he would need to do is promise to legalize marijuana in all 50 states and that changes everything.  In any case, do your part and get out there tomorrow and vote.  Today, we have two down south releases to give you a little bit of info about.

First, comes a product from DJ ASAP and DJ Red Skull.  These two are back with another installment in the “Straight Outta Trap House” collection.  Part 15 brings you tracks from Future, Cashmere Cat, Starrah, Tory Lanez, Travi$ Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, Jacquees, DeJ Loaf, Kodak Black, Talib Kweli, James Fauntleroy, Migos, The Weeknd, Jeremih, Chance The Rapper, Young Thug, Chris Brown, Young Lo, Jaylon Gary, KingBurris, Mac The Legend, Rhonin Kalypso, Lil Jairmy, and much more.  You will also find the new record on this release from 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane, and Quavo called “Good Drank” which they have a video in the works for:

Next, Traps N Trunks drops off another installment in the southern franchise labeled “Strictly 4 Traps N Trunks”.  These dirty south mixtapes always feature some of the hottest up and coming emcees in the game.  This edition is hosted by Rich The Kid and contains tracks by him, Block 125, Young Greatness, Peewee Longway, Str8 Drop, Kevin Gates, Marcosus, Yo Gotti, Moneybagg Yo, Young Scooter, 21 Savage, Hot Boy Nuke, YFN Kay, Master P, Krazy, Atak, the late Shawty Lo, Yung Homi, Johnny Cinco, Kay Rhoma, OTW Choppa, and much more on this playlist of 25 songs.

Most of you have probably seen a ton of commercials about the election in the past few days.  These two presidential candidates really are something else, but hopefully the right person will come out on top.  In any case, you will always have us to bring you the hottest new music, so you can just kick back, relax, and play your favorite jams to take your mind off things.

Official Releases 4th Quarter 2016

We are just about half way through the final quarter of the 2016 year.  As the year winds down to an end, it never goes by very quickly as there are three major holidays that are celebrated during the last two months.  Thanksgiving, December’s religious holidays, and New Year’s Eve, which as most know, occurs on the final day of the year.  In this posting, we review two of the year’s major releases.  One comes from Philly native Meek Mill and the other is by Gucci Mane, who was recently released from being incarcerated for three years.

The first of the official free mixtapes to be reviewed belongs to Philadelphia emcee Meek Mill who is currently signed to Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group record label.  He has had his share of beef over the past year or so with hip hop artists such as Drake, Joe Budden, and most recently west coast lyricist and former G-Unit member The Game.  Some may say that rapper The Game started the feud to hype up his retail album release of “1992” before it dropped.  Many of Meek Mill’s fan were waiting in heavy anticipation for him to give them the 4th volume of the “Dreamchasers” collection and on October 27th, 2016 he finally delivered it to the streets.  Part 4 contains guest appearances by Tory Lanez, Lil Uzi Vert, girlfriend Nicki Minaj, Quavo, Don Q, Young Thug, 21 Savage, YFN Lucci, Tracy T, Guordan Banks, Pusha T, the late Lil Snupe, and French Montana.

Next, comes the first official street album product by Gucci Mane since being set free after serving a 3 year prison sentence for a probation violation.  There may have been much more hype for this drop, but before he went to jail he recorded a ton of music which was released while he was incarcerated, so it would seem like he never left the game.  He brings along three features on this 14 song title from Rick Ross, Young Dolph, and Travi$ Scott.

We will be back with another review very soon as there have been many official drops within the past 2 months.  It seems like the month’s of October and November are the busiest times of the year for recording artists to be releasing music.   Make sure you stop by frequently as new music is always being added for you listening pleasure.

Down South Hip Hop and R&B Music

Daylight Savings occurs tonight at 2 am, so that means those of you that choose to go out to the club and party, you will have an extra hour.  If you choose to drink, please make sure you have a designated driver or call a taxi.  The consequences that could happen when driving after you have had too much to drink are not worth the risk.  We have two titles in this review for you to take a look at.  The first contains tracks by one of the most popular Louisiana emcees in the history of hip hop and the second brings you an r&b playlist of the latest tracks.

Lil Wayne is the star of the first drop labeled “Daddy Issues” in this blog post.  Over the past several months, the former Cash Money music artist has made public his on-going problems with Birdman and his record label, so in case you did not already realize, that is the meaning behind this release’s title.  The 21 records on this drop feature guest slots from Gucci Mane, YG, Wiz Khalifa, Logic, Ty Dolla $ign, G-Eazy, Yo Gotti, Solange, YFN Lucci, 2 Chainz, Gudda Gudda, Quavo, Travi$ Scott, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Kent Jones, Pitbull, Dae Dae, O.T. Genasis, T.I., and other top musical acts in the recording industry.

Second, on the list comes a product from The Empire called “R&B Addiction”.  These guys are on #46 of the long-running franchise with new songs by Jacquees, Dej Loaf, 24hrs, TLC, InkMonstarr, Alicia Keys, Tyree, Bryson Tiller, Usher, Young Thug, KDL, Fetty Wap, Khalid, Roy Wood$, Kevin McCall, TYuS, Decadez, Cassow, JR Castro, Too $hort, and much more.  Browse all of the volumes in this collection easily by using the suggested featured located below the audio player.

The first week in the month of “Movember” has almost come to an end.  This is that time of the year when men grow out their mustaches to raise awareness of the different types of cancer that can occur in males.  The event began 10 years ago in the country of Australia when 30 men decided to grow out their mustaches in order to raise money.  Today, it is a global event and has raised over $100 million.
