Music For Easter Sunday/April Fool’s Day

It is the day after Easter and also April Fool’s Day because both occurred on the same day this year.  Spring officially began about 2 weeks ago, but some areas of the United States are still seeing winter like conditions, although nothing too harsh.  The weather service only shows some areas of the US that will see a few inches of snow over the next few days.  Since Easter break is over for many, we have some new hip hop and r&b songs on recent releases for you to check out.

DJ Blak Boy drops a release for everyone that is a fan of music from the state of Georgia.  He brings out part 7 of the “Only In Atlanta” mixtapes.  Look for tracks on this volume by Migos, Future, Trouble, Peewee Longway, Rich Homie Quan, Quavo, MoneyBagg Yo, K. Camp, Travi$ Scott, Scotty ATL, Que, Mike Will Made It, Rae Sremmurd, Frost Breezy, Lil Dab, Rasta, Slim Jxmmi, and other southern emcees.

Next, DJs Testarosa, Goldmouf, and Tati give the block another installment of the “Lit This Month” franchise.  The “March 2K18 Edition” is hosted by Jay Trenton.  This playlist contains new songs by the host, G. Herbo, Tay-K, Kodak Black, NBA YoungBoy, Trippie Redd, Boosie Badazz, YaGuala Mo, Yella Beezy, Lil Baby, Seanie Boy, YFN Lucci, FLD Drae, Dae Dae, Hot Boy Turk, SchoolBoy Q, GlokkNine, Comethazine, Chris Brown, Trey Songz, and many more.

Thirdly, comes a release from DJ Tokar’s mixtapes.  He brings out the 12th edition in the “Street Smoke” roster.  This compilation plays you tracks by A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Blocboy JB, Seanie Boy, No Jumper, Meecho Da Don, AF1 Kane, Gunplay, Key Glock, Chief Keef, KeiKeiIsland, Scott Kenton, Champ DaGrate, Money Makin Mitch, Big Cuz, Trae Tha Truth, Young Thug, RaRa, Yung Bans, Lil Xan, and many other hip hop emcees.

Fourth in line comes a drop by a trio of DJs.  Mellz, Cortez, and Ben Frank team up to bring you another volume in the “Online Trappin” series.  Number 5 contains a playlist of hip hop hits by artists such as Gucci Mane, Hoodrich Pablo Juan, Lil Skies, Famous Dex, Goonew, Taco Mone, DrugRixh Paco, Lil Dude, Jay Fizzle, Rico Recklezz, Trouble, Lil Herb, Ballout, Brickarrache, Young Scooter, BanaDup Bhris, Wiz Khalifa, Cutty Cutright, Lo Diesel, GS Boyz, and more.

Election Night 2016

Tonight is the big night for the 2016 presidential election.  Did you do your part and make sure you cast your vote?    Even though most of the population does not agree with the two candidates running, it very important that you do your share in the voting process.  Once you are done, we have two new titles for you to check out in this blog post review.

Next, DJ Finesse brings back the 2000’s recording era with number 12 in the “Love & Hip Hop” music sessions.  This throwback release contains your favorite hit records from those years by Mariah Carey, Bow Wow, Cassidy, Jamie Foxx, Kanye West, Fabolous, Ne-Yo, Akon, P. Diddy, Ginuwine, Loon, Ashanti, 50 Cent, Nate Dogg, Nas, DMX, Sisqo, and others.  DJ Finesse released about five or six new titles this week and you can browse them all by scrolling through the suggested products function.
