It seems as though Mayback Music Group’s success has slowed although Rick Ross who was never faded by 50 Cent’s tirade of diss records still continued to produce hit.  Although, today he hasn’t continued to produce as many hits as he once did.

One of MMG’s last relevant releases to drop was Meek Mill’s mixtape release of ‘Dreamchasers 2’.  The Philadelphia rapper made a name for himself with hit records like ‘I’m a Boss’ the year prior.  He also had a few hits that showed he has what it takes to be a great rapper.  Eventually Meek Mill lost the spotlight with other new to the scene rappers break hits such as today’s more popular, Kendrick Lamar.

With this mixtape release, Meek Mill doesn’t change any type of style he is giving you.  He still comes with the heart-pounding, hard-hitting rap style of his previous official mixtape release.  Meek Mill is back again to prove he has what it takes to signed to a major record label and keep his fans wanting more.

Meek Mill also has some of rap’s more popular music artists featured on ‘Dreamchasers 3′.  Artists include Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, and Fabolous.  Production  on the mixtape from Key Wane ‘All Me’ and Boi-1da ‘FuckWithMeYouKnowIGotIt’.

The music artists that are featured on this mixtape bring just as much lyricism as Meek Mill does delivering some of the best rhymes a feature could produce.  Some of the tracks sound dark and erie, but it is fitting for Meek Mill’s style of rap.  The producers laid down some hot samples for just a mixtape.

Meek Mill has some club ready tracks and rap about the usual guns, money, violence, drugs, and women.  This style of rap has become very repetitive in the rap music industry.  Why not rap about being a baller player or a boxer instead of a drug dealer or murderer.

One special feature on this mixtape is from the late rap artist, Lil Snupe.  On the track it pays tribute to Lil Snupe and his unique hip hop rhyme skills.

The one thing wrong about this mixtape is that it is far too lengthy.  It can be hard to listen to a rapper for a long period of time.  Meek Mill is giving you more than a full length album or mixtape, he is giving you a ‘War and Peace’ novel of mixtapes.  It seems like his aim is to get you so hype that by the time you are done listening to this mixtape, if you can actually sit and listen to it that long, you’re ready to pop bottles and hit the club.

This mixtape had much hype up to it’s release, weather Meek Mill delivered or not is up to you the listener.
