Music Last Week September 2017

The beginning of the fall officially kicked off this past Friday, but the temperatures seem to remain very warm for much of the United States.  School has also been back in session for about a month for most students.  In any case, we have another blog post of music reviews for you to check out.

First, DJ L-Gee and Kingz Ink release another installment of the “Show U How To Hustle” collection.  Part 5 of the series contains a track listing of music by Gucci Mane, E-40, Migos, NBA YoungBoy, Yo Gotti, Lil Durk, Future, Jeezy, Meek Mill, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Young Dolph, Kodak Black, Travis Scott, G-Eazy, A$AP Rocky, Cardi B, Juicy J, Rick Ross, Nipsey Hu$$le, Ace Hood, Zoey Dollaz, Chris Brown, The Weeknd, Post Malone, 21 Savage, and much more.  DJ L-Gee is really stepping up the graphics on his covers by teaming up with Kingz Ink.

R&B Music For Valentine’s Day

Love is in the air as the most romantic day of the year is right around the corner.  Many people look forward to Valentine’s Day as a time to show that special someone how much they care about them.  For that reason, this edition of blog post reviews showcases some of the latest r&b releases containing the newest music in the r&b world to aid you in creating that lovely evening you have planned for you and your significant other.

DJ Triple Exe returns to the scene with #117 in the long running series called “The Passion Of R&B”.  He has lately been sub-titling these releases with romance movie names from the 90’s and this one is given the “Jungle Fever” film title.  Look for tracks on this installment by Ashanti, DJ Luke Nasty, 2 Chainz, Kiiara, Lil Wayne, PnB Rock, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Teyana Taylor, Tink, Robin Thicke, Juicy J, Drake, Tory Lanez, Static Major, Papoose, Twelve, Keke Palmer, Remy Ma, Ray J, John Legend, and others on this all-star lineup of current musical acts.

We are halfway through the month of October and in the final quarter of the 2016 year.  The holiday shopping season is right around the corner, as well as the presidential election.  Word on the street is the character Harley Quinn from the movie Suicide Squad will be a popular costume this Halloween.  We have two reviews this time around of releases from Canada’s finest DJ Scratchez and Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Gang.

First, on the review list is a drop from a disc jockey who hail’s from the country north of the United States.  DJ Scratchez brings the block another installment in the Diamond Cuttz mixtapes franchise.  These releases are normally a double disc, so you can be sure to have all of the latest tracks available at your fingertips.  Gucci Mane makes the cover for number 62 with tracks on this volume also by Tory Lanez, A$AP Mob, Jeezy, Chris Brown, Rick Ross, Scrilla, French Montana, Max B, Lil Uzi Vert, Migos, Yuri Jones, Sonny Digital, Bankroll Fresh, Jadakiss, Styles P, Verse Simmonds, Kid Ink, A Boogie, and many more top industry artists.

Mixtapes 1st Week of September 2016

Starting this blog post off is one of the flyest DJs out of Canada, DJ Scratchez.  He’s back with another jam packed edition of the “Diamond Cuttz” series with the 45th installment in the franchise hosted by Cool Amerika.  This release is 54-tracks and has a play-time of almost 2 hours with the newest music from artists such as the hosts, 50 Cent, 2 Chainz, Wiz Khalifa, Young Thug, Gucci Mane, T.I., T-Pain, K. Camp, Mac Miller, The Weeknd, Vado, Chief Keef, Yo Gotti, Waka Flocka, and many, many more on this hot product.

Finally, on the list of mixtapes reviewed in this blog post is by one of Buymixtapes.com favorite blend kings, Semaj Da DJ.  He drops a tribute effort to the late rapper and Coke Boy artist, Chinx.  The release is titled “Stairway To Heaven” and contains some of the emcee’s best new music, along with custom blend tracks by the DJ.  Songs to look out for on this product include “Wake Up”, “Off The Rip”, “Yay”, “On Your Body”, “Go Get It”, as well as all the other songs on this 22-track drop.
