Martin Luther King Jr Holiday Weekend Music

On Monday, January 15th, 2017, we celebrate Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy.  He is one of the most well known black activists in the history of the United States.  What will you do to remember all that he did to fight for African American equality?  We have some new drops for you to check out in this edition of blog reviews.

The last of the mixtapes to be reviewed in this blog post comes from Mr. Crack.  He just released another classic “best of” product titled “The Best Of Bad Boy Volume 1”.  When he releases these types of drops, it’s not the usual compilation of commercial tracks that are found on these types of releases.  He brings you some of the hottest songs that didn’t really get heavy rotation at the time.  Check out vintage hits on this drop by artists such as 112, The Notorious B.I.G., Ma$e, G-Dep, Craig Mack, Faith Evans, Carl Thomas, Lil Kim, The L.O.X., Black Rob, Eminem, Shyne, Lil Cease, Busta Rhymes, Mr. Bristal, Jay-Z, Total, Mr. Cheeks, Puff Daddy, Black Rob, and Method Man.  Be sure to browse through the site and check out all of Mr. Crack’s mixtapes.

Releases For Third Week Of December 2017

Hanukkah for some began on Tuesday and continues until December 20th.  That’s eight nights of presents for those of the Jewish religion to unwrap.  Music can be seen as a universal religion, so we have some new releases that everyone can vibe to.

DJ S.R. is first up with an r&b release to relax you for the holiday season.  This title contains new and vintage hits from some of the best-known artists in the game.  Volume 19 of the franchise labeled “Sex Escapades” contains tracks by Chris Brown, DiAnte, Miguel, Kash Doll, Nicki Minaj, Omarion, Tank, G-Eazy, Louis Mattrs, Drake, Tory Lanez, Bobby Brown, Belly, Shai, Tone Stith, Phor, Banks, PnB Rock, 6lack, Jeremih, Ty Dolla $ign, Jacquees, and more.

It is the first day of 2017 after the Halloween festivities.  Many people partied over the weekend since the holiday occurred on a Tuesday this year.  We have a round of new music for you to check out if your head still isn’t pounding from the hangover you may have had after the weekend celebration.
