Mixtapes Reviewed and Free Music Last Week August 2015

The final week of August 2015 is upon us. The United States is mid-way through the pre-season of NFL football.  Most people have already begun school and classes.  Looks like there is less than one month left for the summer season in the Northern Hemisphere of the planet.  If you are looking to listen to new mixtapes, we have a few of just the many available on the site in this blog post.

First up, to get you ready for the fall semester of school is a release in “The Usual Suspects” collection.  The first review is the “Young Dolph and 2 Chainz Edition” of the popular series.  2 Chainz aka Tity Boi is a well known artist from the south.  Young Dolph, who also hails from the dirty south, has been around for a while and is on the come up in the music business.  This 18-track release will give you a taste of some of the best new music released by them.  Featured along with the two emcees are B.o.B., Tech N9ne, Troy Ave, Fetty Wap, Eric Bellinger, Future, Wiz Khalifa, The Dream, Travi$ Scott, T.I., Young Lito, and DJ Self.  As usual, these mixtapes showcase the best emcees out right now, so you”ll want to push play on this one.

Next, is another edition in the southern series labeled “Stash House”.  The 32nd installment in the franchise contains the latest free music coming from artists located in the southern part of the United States.  This volume contains tracks by T.I., Yo Gotti, Chinx, Future, iLoveMakonnen, Migos, Gunplay, Kevin Gates, Young Dro, Chedda Da Connect, Drake, Skooly, Shy Glizzy, and many more top industry recording artists.  It seems like Young Dro and T.I. decided to team up again with the release of the track titled “We In Da City”, which can be found on this drop.  Their last hit record, which sold over 2 million copies, was “Shoulder Lean” released on July 4th, 2006.

Finally, 2 Chainz drops another official mixtape for the streets on August 13th, 2015.  The former Playaz Circle rapper gives you Tre or #3 in the series titled “Trap-A-Velli”.  This is practically an album with a 16-track effort by the College Park, Georgia emcee.  Appearing alongside 2 Chainz are artists such as The Dream, Kevin Gates, Wiz Khalifa, Heaven Harmony, Young Dolph, Cap 1, Skooly, and Betty Idol.  Production on this product by Two7teen, Fresh Jones, Honorable C-Note, Zaytoven, Fki, iBeatz, B Wheezy, Nard B, Mike Dean, and others.

There are many releases that could be reviewed, but we try to give a blog post about some of the best mixtapes currently in rotation.  If you’re an artist or DJ and are looking to have your work featured on Buymixtapes.com, please read about more info on that here.  We’re hoping everyone has enjoyed their summer vacation and has a very productive year ahead of them.

New Music and Mixtapes 3rd Week of August 2015

Summer vacation is starting to wrap up for school students.  It can be a sad time for some, while others may have other reasons to be relieved that the summer is almost over.  It seems as though the month of August is a signal that fall and back to work is on it’s way.  Here are just a few of the new free mixtapes we have to offer.  We hope you will enjoy the last bit of your vacation.

T.Y. returns to the game with volume 2 of the official series titled “Son Of A Gangsta”.  If you are unfamiliar with T.Y., he is the son of former Hot Boy and Cash Money recording artist B.G.  He is also signed to the distribution label Jet Life Recordings.  This release has the sound and flow of the old Cash Money from the 90’s and early 2000’s.  If you are a fan of the throwback sound, then you will want to pick this one up.  Guest appearances on this drop by Yung Juve, Roddy, Curren$y, Soulja Slim, B.G., Corner Boy P, Paul Wall, and Lil Soulja Slim.  Producers include Mannie Fresh, Shop With Ken, Woosky, Daniel Mcflyy, Mr. Rogers, and Vintage Rippah.

The next in new release mixtapes is by one of the newest favorites to come out of the south, Kevin Gates.  He hails from New Orleans, Louisiana and lays down lyrics with one of the hardest flows to come from the dirty south in a while.  The release titled “In My Mind” plays you 18-tracks by him with features coming from Juicy J, Future, Sage The Gemini, Starlito, Young Dolph, 2 Chainz, FDA Music, K. Camp, Maino, OG Boobie Black, Xander and Rex, Cee Tha Ruler, and other street emcees.  Turn your radios up or plug in your headphones and get ready for some hard hitting funk.

The final mixtape to be reviewed in this blog post comes from one of the most popular artists in the south, Lil Wayne.  Everyone probably knows about the beef between him and Birdman.  The situation is still unclear what will happen with Cash Money or what label the Louisiana artist will sign to.  The release titled “Blood Shot” gives you 21 of his most recent musical efforts.  This drop contains many popular artists including Jeezy, Tyga, Juvenile, French Montana, Rick Ross, August Alsina, Dej Loaf, Plies, Monica, Big $ean, Chris Brown, Future, and much more.

New Free Mixtapes and Free Music End Of Summer

We have been very busy this summer, so it’s been a while since we posted a blog reviewing the hottest mixtapes out.  It’s also the month of August, so that means “back to school” time.  These releases full of new music will hopefully relax you during your down-time of school shopping and moving onto campus rush.

Recently in the hip hop world, Meek Mill sparked a beef with Drake over twitter claiming that he has a ghost writer.  He also stated on twitter that he was disappointed that Drake had a ghost writer for the track “R.I.C.O.” on his latest album “Dreams Worth More Than Money“.  Meek Mill went a rant because Drake didn’t tweet his album to his followers.  The two went at it by releasing freestyles dissing each other, but in the end, it seems that listeners choose Drake as the winner.  Semaj Da DJ drops a release titled “T.K.O. Meek Mill VS Drake” which puts the two emcees up against each other.  This product contains the recent diss freestyles, as well as some tracks by each of them, so that you can decide who is the better music artist.

Next, is a mixtape by DJ Jerzeyboy featuring some of the best hits by well-known Detroit rapper, Eminem.  This release is titled “Jerzeyboy Radio: Slim Shady Edition” and contains, freestyles, remixes, and blends by the DJ.  Other appearances on this 23-track product include Nicki Minaj, Yelawolf, Jazmine Sullivan, Trick Trick, Dej Loaf, Royce Da 5’9″, Big $ean, and more.  Be sure to check out the original demo version of one of his most popular tracks “Lose Yourself, as well as the freestyles with Tony Touch and Sway in the Morning.

Finally, one of the hottest and newest artists to come out of the south is a man known by the name Fetty Wap.  DJ Keyz releases some of the best mixtapes and the drop titled “One Eyed Monster” is right up there with them.  This product is appropriately titled, as Fetty Wap only has one eye. He lost sight in the other as a child due to a disease.  The DJ does a great job in the transitions on this 22-track release.  Guest features include Remy Boyz, Jadakiss, Gucci Mane, Rich Homie Quan, Lil Dicky, Lil Reese, Yo Gotti, Ca$h Out, K. Camp, Natalie La Rose, Troy Ave, and many more popular performers.

We’re hoping this blog post will help you choose some of the hottest mixtapes from our site, as we have a very large selection to browse for your listening enjoyment.  Always remember that we are mobile compatible, so if you are on the go, just load our site on your mobile device’s browser.  Be sure to check Buymixtapes.com everyday because new free music is constantly being added!

Free Music and Mixtapes Download Now Instantly

It’s the 3rd week of April 2015 and summer is right around the corner, although the temperatures in some spots may prove otherwise.  We have another lineup of the hottest free music to stream and download.  Whenever the degrees start to rise you’ll want to bring these along with you to enjoy the summer rays, have a good time or just kick back and relax.

One of the hottest DJs out there putting out mixtapes for the streets is DJ Jerzeyboy.  This guy really knows how to give you all of the latest music and his products are on fire.  Volume 5 of the “Springtime Come Up” series is no exception to this.  There are many hot new freestyles on here to keep you entertained.  Maybe two of the better freestyle kings, Fabolous and Lloyd Banks, will go head to head?  This product is jammed packed with free music from Styles P, Tony Yayo, Rich The Kid, Jeremih, Rick Ross, Drakeo The Ruler, Chinx Drugz, Snoop Dogg, Kanye West, and much more.  Make sure you don’t miss the new track by Eminem and Yelawolf titled “Best Friend”.  That song is definitely hot!

Next in the series of mixtapes to be reviewed is by DJ Bando and DJ Shooter.  These two are back to bring you part 3 in the “Overstate Trappin” collection.  This is more of southern themed release with only street music on here.  You can check out tracks by Bambino Gold, YG Hootie, Zed Zilla, Freddie Gibbs, Gunplay, Young Buck, Billiard, Young Star, Quavo, and many more on this 25-track dirty south drop.

If you haven’t already heard, Lil Wayne and Young Thug, who were once good friends, are now feuding.  One of the reasons is because Young Thug wanted to name his debut album “Tha Carter 6”.  He said it was a tribute to Lil Wayne, but the Young Money boss took offense to it.  Over the weekend, Young Thug released the official mixtape titled “Barter 6” which you can stream and download free here.  Since the two have beef now, DJ Capcom and DJ Subtance released a project titled “Weezy VS Thugga”.  Based on this release, maybe you can decide who you think is better?  Others featured on this include Migos, T.I., Drake, Rich Homie Quan, Peewee Longway, Offset, 2 Chainz, Flow, and Rich Gang.

Many people are already aware of Lil Wayne’s beef with Birdman as seen in this freestyle video.

Canadian native DJ Scratchez and Germany native DJ Easy team up to showcase the 40th edition of the “Diamond Cuttz” series.  These mixtapes are always packed with the newest free music to hit the streets, as this one contains 50-tracks!  Artists featured on this release such as Scotty ATL, Money Mafia, Mavado, Tyga, Wiz Khalifa, Keak da Sneak, Red Cafe, French Montana, Rico Love, Tyler The Creator, Sage The Gemini, and so much more.  Make sure you don’t miss this drop.

One of the better R&B DJs out is DJ Moe Sticky.  The artwork on his releases is also very nice and works out great for our music players.  Number 35 in the “RNB State Of Mind” franchise plays you music by musicians such as Adrian Marcel, Althea Heart, Brandyn Dayne, T-Pain, LeToya Luckett, Christina Milan, Mack Wilds, Tinashe, Ty Dolla $ign, and more.

DJ Triple Exe, who hails from the United Kingdom, is back with the 44th edition in the “Street Kings” series.  Other collections to look out for by Triple Exe are his “The Passion Of R&B” franchise and “Pure Winery”, which is a collection of Reggae music.  On this release you will find new hip hop music by Jay Electronia, Dipset, A$AP Rocky, Fetty Wap, 2 Chainz, Future, Lil Durk, Rae Sremmurd, Rowdy Rebel, Bobby Schmurda, and other popular favorites.

Recently, Brooklyn native Fabolous has released some pretty nice freestyles alongside DJ Clue, whom he first did mixtapes with.  The product titled “The Fresh Prince of Brooklyn” contains his latest freestyles, as well as some vintage freestyles.  The first 3-tracks on this release are the freestyles he just released.  The remaining tracks are all classics.  Beats that Fabolous raps over by artists that did the original track include Jay-Z, Biggie, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Nas, G-Dep, Half-A-Mil, Mad Lion, and others.  Check out this video of Fabolous on Rap City’s “Tha Basement” show from back in the day.

This brings this blog posting to a close.  We hope you enjoy all the newest free music available on Buymixtapes.com.  Check back in about a week or so for another review of the hottest funk out on the streets.  Please be sure to tell your friends about us!
